I'm Doug Most, the executive editor for BU Today, Boston University's award winning daily newsroom. This semester, we thought we'd try something new for our readers, to bring you even closer to the diverse community of experts here at BU. In our new podcast, Question of the Week, my colleagues and I will interview experts from across the BU landscape in search of answers to pressing questions, while occasionally taking a breather to explore a lighter subject.
In our first episode, our question is this: 20 years after 9/11, is America more or less vulnerable to another attack? I talked to Andrew Bacevich, professor emeritus of international relations in history.

"I think the bottom line answer is that we are less vulnerable to terrorism, we are far more vulnerable to threats that actually are far more dangerous..."

Has President Biden lowered the temperature as he promised to do. Will space tourism actually take off? Did the Coronavirus kill the handshake? Does Amazon's growth need to be stopped? These are the sorts of questions we'll tackle through short, provocative conversations. We'll talk politics business, culture, education, science, medicine, sports, health, and more.
